If you want to be a successful nail artist, you need two things:

  1. Perseverance in one thing, until you master it, regardless of the difficulties
  2. Love in what you do, regardless of what people think or say about you

If those two ingredients are in, the success is inevitable. We want to thank the editors of the American magazine NAILS for featuring our work and their initiative to help other nail technicians.

On page 50, on the May edition, 2016, Tanya has been featured in few posts for our latest kindle books on Amazon.

NAILS Magazine October 2018

If you do not know, the American NAILS Magazine is specifically designed for nail technicians and enthusiasts with a long history and reputation, dating back since 1961. What distinguishes them from other nail/fashion magazines is the 50 years of publishing experience in the field. Their dedication for the beginners and showing the latest nail art trends is obvious to many.

There isn’t a competition, you are usually in competition with yourself. That’s because the clients with who you are working with like YOUR style, YOUR enthusiasm and YOUR personality to be your clients. It is a relationship business. The quality of work is also important, but people want connection and a good relationship. Most nail technicians are not only manicurists, but also psychiatrists for a good reason.

That’s why in every nail salon, the individual approach is unique and important and that’s why there isn’t a competition, because there’s no another YOU. You will attract the exact same clients as you are. You’ll think and be like most of the clients who visit you and are your loyal clients. The rule, “you become with who you surround yourself with” holds true in every aspect for this profession.

Working as a team is also critical to succeed, because if you work only by yourself will be very difficult. When you work in a team, one + one does not equal two. Equals five! Nevertheless, the key to success in this profession is filtering and choosing the right clients for you, especially after you become a name.

90% of a business consists of returning clients and the 10% are new ones. If your returning clients are your priority you’ll win, because there’s only 24 hours you have in a day.

The people behind NAILS magazine work exactly the same way. They help others, without expecting anything in return. This will quickly turn your following into raving fans and admirers.

Never say that you are the best, even if you have a good level of understanding this profession. There’s always another level, new skills to be acquired, new techniques to be learned. This industry is involving at rapid pace and new products arrive, followed by new techniques of doing things more efficiently and effective. The moment you say, “I AM THE BEST,” you stop learning and stop involving and those who to not grow, die, metaphorically speaking.

Use your Ego to move things forward and to prove to yourself and others that you can do it, just like have! I have prepared few online courses that are proven to be successful with many students, who already took advantage of them. You’ll see behind my shoulder how I work, think and make things happen.

To your success,
